SEC Week 9 predictions, how to watch and follow

Should be another solid weekend in the SEC.

This weekend in the SEC is much like last week as we reach the bye weeks for most teams in the conference. Nonetheless, the four games played this weekend should be good ones for college football fans to tune into as four ranked teams take the field.

With it also being Halloween weekend, who knows what might be in store as there very well could be some wild games all throughout Saturday. Here is a quick glance at the games across the Southeast this Saturday.

Vanderbilt Commodores vs. Missouri Tigers

Time: 3:00pm EST

Location: Vanderbilt Stadium in Nashville, TN

TV Channel: SEC Network

Stream: WatchESPN

Spread: Missouri -16.5; Over/under 62.5

Vanderbilt is currently on a 17-game SEC losing streak, and they will try to take advantage of a weak Missouri defense on Saturday to end it. Overall, Tyler Badie and Connor Bazelak will be too much for this Vandy defense, and the Tigers will leave Nashville with a win, but it could be closer than many think.

Prediction: Missouri 35, Vandy 21

Odds are via DraftKings.

#1 Georgia Bulldogs vs Florida Gators

Time: 3:30pm EST

Location: TIAA Bank Field in Jacksonville, FL

TV Channel: CBS

Stream: CBS

Spread: Georgia -14; Over/under 51

Georgia will look to continue their dominance as they meet up for the annual, ‘‘Cocktail Party” in Jacksonville. Florida has hit a bump in the road as Dan Mullen has had to remake his offense from the pass-heavy version we saw last season. The Gators will come in ready to put up a fight, but it won’t make much of a difference, as this just might be the Bulldogs year.

Prediction: Georgia 24, Florida 7

#18 Auburn vs. #10 Ole Miss

Time: 7:00pm EST

Location: Jordan-Hare Stadium in Auburn, AL

TV Channel: ESPN

Stream: WatchESPN

Spread: Auburn -3; Over/under 66

In the only ranked matchup of the weekend in the SEC, fans will be looking for a shootout as the Rebels come to town. Lane Kiffin has his offense clicking, but will his defense be able to stop Bo Nix and this Auburn offense consistently? This game is going to be close throughout, but I’m going to take Auburn over the Rebels.

Prediction: Auburn 35, Ole Miss 30

Mississippi State vs #12 Kentucky

Time: 7:00pm EST

Location: Davis Wade Stadium in Starkville, MS

TV Channel: SEC Network

Stream: WatchESPN

Spread: Mississippi State -1; Over/under 47

The ‘Cats will be looking to break a losing streak in Starkville, as they have not won there since the 2008 season. The Bulldogs have been hard to get a read on all season as they have played up and down through their seven games, and Kentucky has proven to easily be one of the top-15 teams in the county. Vegas has this game a lot closer than I think it will be, as Kentucky marches into Davis Wade and grabs their seventh win of the season.

Prediction: Kentucky 35, Mississippi State 21
