That was so much fun. The Kentucky Wildcats took down the Florida Gators in a raucous atmosphere at Kroger Field.
20-13 was the final score and the party was on after that as it was the first time since 1986 that UK has defeated Florida in Lexington.
I took to the airwaves as soon as the game was over and, let’s just say, I was a little animated. The calls were flooding in as fans were able to celebrate during the call-in show. Apparently I was yelling so loud that people walking down the street heard me.
If you’re like me, you don’t want the fun to end. So rewatch the game and go back to listen to the Kentucky Fish and Wildlife UK Postgame Show!
Here is what I discussed:
- Kentucky’s defense was damn near perfect vs. a high-powered Florida offense
- JJ Weaver, Josh Paschal, Deandre Square and Jacquez Jones are special players
- Will Levis had some tough moments but in the end what he did was enough to win
- Kentucky’s defense played a lot of true freshmen and redshirt freshmen throughout the game
- C-Rod and the offensive line dominated
- How about 8 stops in the red zone to end the game?
- 6-0 is there for the taking
- Mark Stoops postgame presser was a blast
- Sound from JJ Weaver, Will Levis and more!
