Kentucky Wildcats offensive line commit Kiyaunta Goodwin has been committed to the program since April. Goodwin has attended every UK home game this season, and he’s been seen alongside Vince Marrow at Kroger Field every time.

However, this past weekend, Goodwin took an official visit to Alabama, and he also plans to take officials to Michigan State, Ohio State, and Michigan before finally coming back to Kentucky to officially visit in November.

Goodwin has always re-affirmed his commitment to Kentucky, and has stated that his plan was to always take all of his official visits, and has even been encouraged to do so.

Goodwin recapped his official visit to Alabama via On3.com:

“I am still strong with my commitment to Kentucky. I have the same feeling about that right now.

“Alabama was great. I am going to take my official visit to Michigan State next weekend, then I will take official visits to Kentucky, Ohio State and Michigan in November.

“After the visits are over, I will sit down and think more about everything. I will pick the best place for me at that time.”

In the words of Goodwin, it sounds like he’s going through the recruiting process again, with his plans to re-affirm or pick this best school for him following all of his official visits.

Kentucky still sits in a good spot to keep Goodwin, and I’d be surprised if they lost him, considering all of the work Marrow has put in to keep a relationship with him.

Goodwin is also close with the UK 2022 recruiting class.
