Kentucky Wildcats QB Will Levis has been named to the Davey O’Brien Award’s Great 8 list for his performance in a 42-21 win over the LSU Tigers. Levis has also been added to the Davey O’Brien Award Watch List.
A 6-foot-3, 232-pound QB from Madison (CT), Levis accounted for UK’s first five touchdowns against the Tigers with three passing and two rushing. He completed 14/17 passes for 145 yards and three touchdowns, the most for a UK QB since Terry Wilson had three at Louisville in 2018. Levis also rushed 11 times for 75 yards and two scores.
This is the latest honor for Levis following his big game vs. LSU. He was also named the FBS National Offensive Player of the Week by the Walter Camp Football Foundation. He also earned College Football Performance Awards honorable mention.
The Davey O’Brien Award is presented annually to the most outstanding college football quarterback. This year’s winner will be unveiled December 9th live on ESPN during the College Football Awards.
