The Kentucky Wildcats dominated the LSU Tigers last night 42-21. It was one of the most dominating wins over a power five opponent that we’ve seen during the Mark Stoops Era.
Will Levis had been struggling during the Cats’ most recent games but tonight he came alive throwing for three touchdowns and rushing for two more. His performance was the piece that solidified UK as one of the best teams in the SEC.
If Levis can continue to do what he did last night along with the running game and the defense, then Kentucky has a chance to do something very special. The win last night put a 10-2 record on the table.
Mark Stoops and his staff has been building towards this moment for years and now they’re reaping the benefits of their patience and recruiting.
On Saturday the Wildcats will travel to Athens to take on the undefeated and #1 Georgia Bulldogs for the right to represent the East in Atlanta in the SEC Championship game. It’s the biggest game in the Mark Stoops Era and maybe in the history of Kentucky football.
