There is nothing better than a Yahtzee to end the week, as the Kentucky Wildcats have added a commitment for the Class of 2022.
With this new-look offense off and running, and flashing its explosive potential from time-to-time, Vince Marrow had an easy sell to pull off a late upset in another recruitment. This time he goes back to his ultimate pipeline in the state of Ohio.
This morning on Kentucky Sports Radio, 3-star wide receiver Brandon White announced his commitment to Kentucky. He chose the Cats over his other finalist, West Virginia.
The tides change quickly in recruiting, and that is exactly what happened here.
After originally scheduling his commitment date for the end of August, White decided that he needed some more time to think through the decision. At the time, all signs pointed to him ending up in Morgantown, but with the decision to push the date back, the Big Dog swooped in.
After a visit to Lexington in early September, UK quickly became the favorite to land the speedy wideout.
Speed Speed Speed. Go Big Blue.

At 5-foot-9 and 165 pounds, the Archbishop Moeller (Cincinnati, OH) wideout is undersized for the position, but he makes it up with elite speed. During his junior season, he ran a 4.28 40-yard dash and a 10.3 100-yard dash to give you some numbers, and with that, UK has landed the type of player that can take the top off of any defense.
White is currently ranked as a 3-star prospect, according to the 247 Sports Composite rankings, and is considered a top-200 receiver nationally. With a solid showing through four games thus far into his senior season, he could be a player to see a little bump in the rankings at the next update.
