Happy Saturday, Big Blue Nation, I hope you are all having a great weekend so far.

The Kentucky Wildcats are back in action today as they take their two game winning streak down to Gainesville to take on the Florida Gators. Mike White’s team is 5-2 with losses coming to Florida State and Alabama.

Beating Florida will give the Cats their best win of the season and will give people a little more hope that they can indeed turn the season around and make the tournament at the end.

The last time UK was in the O-Dome, they erased an 18 point deficit to beat the Gators. The team looked primed for March until COVID shut it all down. Keion Brooks hit the game winning three and he will be making his debut today.

I don’t expect too much out Brooks today. He just started five-on-five workouts today. I do think his leadership will be valuable going forward.

I don’t expect the Cats to win today. I am trying to take this season one game at a time and not have too many expectations at this point. But winning today would be a great sign that Calipari has found something with his team and that maybe they can salvage the season.
