2020 for Kentucky Wildcats football and basketball was nothing short of a disaster. The football team struggled through a 4-6 SEC only season and the basketball team was teetering on the brink of disaster with a 1-6 record.
Things started on a much better note in 2021 as the Kentucky football team extended it’s bowl winning streak to three in a row as they defeated NC State 23-21 and the basketball Cats won just their second game of the season by beating Mississippi State on the road 78-73.
The stars of the day were Dontaie Allen, Devin Askew, Olivier Sarr, Jamin Davis, Christopher Rodriguez, and AJ Rose. All six of those guys came up big when their teams needed them the most and in the clutch.
I was on the radio after both wins and BBN had a lot of fun for the first time in a long time during the postgame call-in shows. Listen to the podcasts and relive the fun!
