UPDATE
Brandon Boston eventually came back to the bench and checked into the game at the 14:00 mark of the first half, so it looks like this was just an injury scare.
The Kentucky Wildcats are holding their collective breath after Brandon Boston Jr. went down with an injury at Alabama.
Less than two minutes into the game, Boston rolled his ankle and was in obvious pain on the ground for several minutes. He eventually got to his feet but had to be helped to the locker room for further testing.
Kentucky is already without fellow freshman guard Terrence Clarke, who has his own ankle injury that’s kept him sidelined for the last month. Losing Boston for any length of time would cripple an already crippled offense, as he was coming on strong recently and was a big reason why the Cats took down a quality LSU team last Saturday.
We will update this post if any more details come out.
