Who wins Kentucky vs. LSU?

Will the Cats get back on track, or will their slump continue?

NCAA Basketball: Kentucky at Georgia Dale Zanine-USA TODAY Sports

After starting conference play 3-0, the Kentucky Wildcats have gone back to the way they played at the beginning of the season, losing three straight games in a variety of ways. The latest one was to Georgia in game-winning fashion.

The Cats were up six with about two minutes left, gave up a three, couldn’t score a bucket, missed the front-end of a one-and-one and ultimately gave up a layup with three seconds left on the clock.

The only real thing left to play for and give anyone hope is the SEC Tournament. The Cats need to find some kind of offensive flow in order to be successful.

The tweak that Cal made last game couldn’t have backfired worse. Dontaie Allen had his worst game of the season, and Davion Mintz was a non-factor for most of the game.

It doesn’t get any easier with the Tigers tonight. LSU is 10-3 overall and 5-2 in conference play. They have a few playmakers including Cameron Thomas and Trendon Watford. These two can score with the best of them.

All Cal can do is continue to experiment. BJ Boston had his best game of the season against Georgia, maybe that will continue into the next game.

What do you think? Will the Cats get back in the winning column or lose their fourth straight?
