John Calipari sounds defeated following crushing loss to Georgia

The Cats lose to Georgia for the first time in 14 games.

The Kentucky Wildcats drop their 3rd game in a row after a 63-62 loss to the Georgia Bulldogs.

The Cats were in a great position up 56-50 with 5 minutes to play. However, down the stretch they made mistake after mistake and allowed Georgia to have the ball with 3 seconds to play.

Unfortunately, the Cats allowed P.J. Horne to get free under the basket for the game winning layup with 1 second left on the clock.

It was another brutal loss for Kentucky and is just the way this season has gone from the start.

After the game, John Calipari was asked what he tells his team after a heartbreaking loss like that.

In his response, Cal seems to be feeling the same way the rest of the BBN is feeling, just flat out defeated.

“I need someone to talk to me because I am discouraged…”

Things aren’t going to get any easier for the Cats going forward as their next several games are against some of the top teams in the country.

Their next five opponents include LSU, at No. 18 Alabama, No. 5 Texas, at No. 19 Missouri, and No. 6 Tennessee.

Things are going to have to change in a hurry or else these next few weeks could get very ugly.
