Who wins Kentucky vs. Georgia?

Will the Cats bounce back against the Dogs?

NCAA Basketball: Kentucky at Florida Kim Klement-USA TODAY Sports

We have seen a lot going on in the past few days after Kentucky lost to Auburn on Saturday.

John Calipari received heavy criticism after his comment of “crushing players hearts” from not only fans and local media, but the national media as well.

Since then, Cal has stated that the team “may” see up to four new players in the starting lineup vs. the Georgia Bulldogs tonight. At this point, there’s just about nothing Calipari shouldn’t try. The team is 4-8 and the only hope of making March Madness seems to be an SEC Tournament title, which also seems unlikely if things don’t improve fast.

Georgia, on the other hand, is having their own struggles as well. They started conference play at 0-4 and just recently picked up their first victory over Ole Miss.

The Dawgs do have a couple of really talented players in their front court, including Sahvir Wheeler and Tye Fagan. They can score and bang in the paint with the rest of them.

And then there’s the emergence of freshman guard K.D. Johnson, who was just ruled eligible to play just last week and is averaging 17.5 points per game through his first two contests.

Tonight should be a very interesting game, and if what Cal has hinted at does come true, we will be seeing an entirely new Kentucky squad tonight.

What do you think? Will the Cats get back in the winning column or will they continue to struggle?
