NCAA Basketball: Kentucky at Louisville Louisville Courier-Journal-USA TODAY Sports

This Saturday’s loss at Auburn marked the fifth-consecutive game that Kentucky Wildcats guard Terrence Clarke has missed due to an ankle injury. While three of the Wildcats’ four wins have came during that stretch, they could most certainly use Clarke’s talent in what appears to be a heavily crippled offense.

Clarke shredded the walking boot early last week, but has yet to see the hardwood and there isn’t a firm timetable for his return. Uncertainty around a Kentucky player’s injury isn’t unusual, though, considering the mystery that was Keion Brooks’ injury and how vague Kentucky kept the sophomore’s return to the court.

It’s unclear what Clarke’s role will be in the Kentucky offense when he does return, but one thing is for certain: the team can only go up in terms of shooting and overall efficiency. His presence will undoubtedly be a boost in talent on the floor and should at least provide a confidence boost to the team overall.

What are your predictions for when he’ll return? What role do you see Clarke playing in a blatantly broken offense?
