Sunday Headlines: On to Georgia Edition

It’s time to look ahead to Wednesday.

NCAA Basketball: Kentucky at Auburn John Reed-USA TODAY Sports

Well, it’s time to put yesterday’s game behind us.

That was a tough loss in a game Kentucky had plenty of opportunities to win.

But now, Kentucky will look to get back on track on Wednesday against a Georgia team that is 8-4 but has had its struggles in SEC play. The Bulldogs are just 1-4 in conference play and picked up their first win on Saturday against Ole Miss.

The Wildcats desperately need to get a win in Athens to keep their hopes of an NCAA Tournament bid alive and to hopefully gather some momentum heading into a crucial stretch of the season.

Wednesday night is a winnable game for the Wildcats, but there will need to be significant improvement on offense to defeat a Bulldogs team that is also looking to get back on track.

Hopefully the Wildcats can put yesterday behind them and move forward, as they attempt to turn this season around.
