Winning heals all, doesn’t it?
Before SEC play started, the entirety of Big Blue Nation was in an uproar because of the losing that this fan base is not used to.
However, John Calipari did warn everyone before the season started, stating that his team was very young and not ready for this schedule.
On top of that, a big piece was missing: Keion Brooks Jr. Brooks looked like he not only didn’t miss a step since his last time playing (10 months ago), but it looked like he has improved vastly. He scored 12 points on 6/8 shooting in Saturday’s blowout victory over Florida. He gave this team a spark on both sides of the ball and played just 25 minutes.
While the Kentucky Wildcats are now riding a three-game winning streak, and the fanbase seems to have have changed its attitude, the Alabama Crimson Tide do not care.
The Tide have had a very impressive five-game winning stretch of their own that include wins over Florida, Tennessee and Auburn (with Sharife Cooper).
Alabama has plenty of offense to go around, so the Cats are going to have their hands full on defense. Some players to look out for is Jordan Bruner and Joshua Primo, and then of course veteran John Petty.
What do you think? Do the Cats continue their hot streak or will the Tide continue theirs?
