A theme we have seen throughout all of fall camp is the great play out of the wide receivers. With only a little under three weeks until the season kicks off in Auburn, they are still reaping the praise of the OC Eddie Gran and his staff.
One in particular who is catching the coaches attention is DeMarcus Harris.
Gran said wide receiver DeMarcus Harris is one of the playmakers who is "making a move" as preseason practice nears its conclusion.

Harris is a redshirt freshman out of Vero Beach (FL) who stands at 6-1 and comes in at 183 pounds. A three-star prospect out of high school according to 247 and ESPN, he chose Kentucky over offers from Boston College, Cincinnati, App State, and Boston College.
Last season, he appeared in three games and recorded one tackle on special teams, but it seems his role this year is beginning to grow from Gran’s comments. When he was recruited out of high school, Harris was known for his explosive ability. He could be the big-play threat the offense will need to break open these SEC defenses.
On top of Gran’s comments, we have heard Mark Stoops speak about the work ethic and how hard Harris plays every snap.
Stoops on redshirt freshman WR DeMarcus Harris: “He’s doing the things we expected out of him.” Could be a guy that surprises some people this season

We have also seen the same type of statements from Brandon Echols and Clevan Thomas.
On WR DeMarcus Harris getting a lot of talk in camp: "He's one of those guys who just kinda puts his head down and plays hard... Had a couple of big plays today."

The main question is where will we see him line up when we open the season? A receiver that posses the ability to play in the slot due to his route running ability, but also has the speed to play either outside spot.
We might not see him as a No. 1 receiver on the depth chart coming out Week 1, as Kentucky still has some good depth with Josh Ali, Clevan Thomas and other camp-riser Bryce Oliver, but I fully expect we see Harris making quite a few plays down in Jordan Hare in a few weeks.
Check out Harris (#86) making some plays in the video from last Saturday’s scrimmage. Also, check out some film from his NSD post.
