It looks like we will have Kentucky vs. Louisville basketball this year, and we can all breathe a sigh of relief.
After it looked like the two rivals may not play this year due to scheduling concerns, there was a back-and-forth on social media yesterday, which concluded with this John Calipari tweet.
See you December 26th. Can't wait!

Which, of course, was preceded by this awkward video from Chris Mack earlier in the day.

Make of that what you will.
But anyway, the game is on and has a date, and I can’t be more excited. The prospect of a college basketball season without Kentucky vs. Louisville just didn’t seem right, and honestly seemed like such a 2020 thing.
On a secondary note, it’s good to see the rivalry heating up again, and Chris Mack is starting to become an unlikeable figure for much of the Kentucky fanbase. The rivalry is better that way, if you ask me.
Go Cats. Beat the Cards. Come on Dec. 26!
