Tyler Herro was the talk of the NBA last night after putting up a career performance in a crucial Game 4 of the Eastern Conference Finals.
Herro came off the bench and finished with 37 points for the Heat as Miami picked up a huge win to go up 3-1 in the series.
He finished 14-21 from the field, including 5-10 from three and added six rebounds and three assists to round out his stat line.
According to ESPN, only Magic Johnson has scored more points than Herro in the playoffs as a player 20 years old or younger, and it’s the most by a rookie in a conference finals series in NBA history.
As Kentucky fans, we all knew Tyler Herro was a bucket, but last night, he showed that to the entire NBA world and now, the Miami Heat are one win away from punching a ticket to the NBA Finals with Herro and fellow Wildcat alumnus Bam Adebayo playing key roles.
