It looks like Kentucky’s Champions Classic clash with Kansas will happen in early December.
According to Jon Rothstein, the current target date for the Classic is December 1st, which is the first Tuesday of the month. The other matchup of the event features Michigan State taking on Duke.
In addition, Rothstein reports that the Holiday Hoopsgiving matchup with Georgia Tech is being moved to December 6th, which is the following Sunday. It was previously scheduled for November 27th, but Kentucky wants to host a basketball pod that week featuring matchups with Detroit Mercy, Richmond and Hartford.
The Wildcats also have a matchup with Notre Dame set for December 12th, so the nonconference portion of the schedule is nearly complete, especially if the SEC goes to a 20-game schedule this season. It’s still unclear if Kentucky will face in-state rival Louisville this season.
If the SEC goes to 20 games this year, then we get 7 non-conference games

So far Kansas, Ga Tech, Notre Dame, Hartford, Detroit and Richmond have been reported
That would leave 1 game....it better be Louisville
If it’s not Louisville, that’s absurd
The start of the 2020-21 college basketball season is November 25th.
