At least one former Kentucky Wildcat will win the NBA Finals this year, the only question is which one. Six weeks ago, all of the smart money would be on the Los Angeles Lakers with Anthony Davis and Rajon Rondo or the Milwaukee Bucks with Eric Bledsoe. But after the first game of the Eastern Conference Finals, it would be wise to not count out Bam Adeboyo, Tyler Herro, and the Miami Heat.
After sweeping the Pacers in the first round and mopping the floor with the No. 1 Bucks, the Heat beat the Celtics in game one of the conference finals on Tuesday in dramatic fashion. After trailing late in the fourth quarter, the Heat came back to send the game into overtime. Clinging to a two point lead, they somehow let Jayson Tatum have a clear path to the basket with less than five seconds remaining. That is when Bam came out of nowhere to have one of the biggest blocks in NBA Playoff history. But don’t take my word for it. What do you think, Magic Johnson?
