De’Aaron Fox and Dakari Johnson get engaged to their significant others

You wanna know how long its been since John Calipari has been at Kentucky? Both De’Aaron Fox and Dakari Johnson got engaged last week.

Both got engaged to their long-time girlfriends, and if you didn’t know, Fox and his now fiancee have a child together. The former Wildcat point guard is coming off a productive third season with the Sacramento Kings, as he averaged 21.1 points, 6.8 assists and 1.5 steals per game.

As for Johnson, this wasn’t the only big news with him last week, as he also re-signed with the Qingdao Eagles of the Chinese Basketball Association for a third season. Last season, he averaged 23.7 points and 14.5 rebounds per game in the CBA.

Calipari certainly feels like his sons are growing up, but I certainly feel a lot older now. I was 16 when Dakari Johnson first stepped foot on campus and only 19 when Fox came to Lexington.

These past 11 years have been a blur.
