Five-star guard Skyy Clark has cut his list to eight, and the Kentucky Wildcats made the cut. Other notable schools on his list include the North Carolina Tar Heels, Michigan Wolverines, UCLA Bruins and Oregon Ducks.
First and foremost I want to thank each and every school that has been involved in my recruitment, I’m truly blessed to be looked at in such high regard for my basketball talents. Thank you for your time and energy. pic.twitter.com/2kKRywiu8a

“I have decided to cut my recruitment down to my final 8 schools which I feel will help me best attain my goals on and off the court,” Clark added on Twitter. “Some very hard decisions had to be made but here is my final 8 right now. God bless.”
In addition, Clark broke down his top schools with 247 Sports. Here’s what he had to say about Kentucky:
“Coach Cal, everybody knows what he does with his players, especially his guards, he does really well with them and he pushes them to be great and I feel like Kentucky fits my style of play.”
Currently a Class of 2022 recruit at Brentwood Academy in Tennessee, Clark is ranked 15th overall by 247 Sports Composite, which measures all of the major recruiting services. He’s expected to get a significant bump in the next round of rankings when they’re released.
Clark is expected to eventually reclassify into 2021, and Kentucky is viewed as the heavy favorite for him in either class. The Wildcats hold every prediction in his 247 Sports Crystal Ball and Rivals FutureCast.
