Terry Wilson is “all in”

Wilson is ready for some football.

Jason Marcum - Sea of Blue

If there is a 2020 football season, Terry Wilson is all in for it.

Over the last week, Wilson had expressed concern about playing this fall amid the coronavirus, as he’s expecting a child to be born soon. You couldn’t blame Wilson at all if he decided to opt out of playing, but he let everyone know today that he’s ready to rock.

Wilson is also still working his way back from a season-ending knee injury last year, but he should be 100% when fall camp opens later this month. And he’s widely expected to retain his job as Kentucky’s starting quarterback, even though there’s a good chance Auburn transfer Joey Gatewood will be eligible this fall.

If there is a season, it will be the final one for Wilson, who has already said he won’t attempt to get a medical redshirt after missing all but two games last season. He’s currently 12-3 as a starter for the Wildcats, one of the best marks anyone has ever had for this program.

Here’s to hoping there is a season, and that it’s a special one for Wilson and his family.
