University of Kentucky golfer and Lyon County native Cullan Brown passed away Tuesday evening in the company of his loved ones following a lengthy battle with cancer. Brown’s personality and spirit during difficult times left a lasting impression on all who met him and knew him.

Brown entered the University of Kentucky in 2018 following a decorated high school career at Lyon County High School in western Kentucky, where he was the KHSAA individual state champion in 2016 and was the state runner-up in 2015 and 2017.

In his freshman season, Brown was named to the All-SEC Freshman team and garnered four top-20 finishes.

Below are a few tweets about Brown and the impact he had on others. These messages provide a glimpse into the type of person that he was for many of us who never had the pleasure of knowing him.

I’ll also use some of the links below to share articles and stories written about Cullan, as well as a video.
