BJ Boston, Terrence Clarke projected as top-10 picks in NBA Mock Draft

High expectations for the incoming freshman.

While the 2020 NBA Draft may only see one Kentucky Wildcat selected in the first round, the 2021 draft may feature not just a pair of first round picks from UK, but two top-10 selections.

ESPN’s Jonathan Givony released his latest 2021 NBA Mock Draft, where both BJ Boston and Terrence Clarke are projected to go in the top 10.

Boston is projected to come off the board sixth while Clarke is slated to go 10th. No teams were assigned for the draft.

Both incoming freshmen were consensus five-star recruits out of high school, with Boston finishing seventh in the ESPN 100 rankings, and Clarke checked in at No. 10.

While Givony’s mock draft featured all 60 projected picks for the 2021 NBA Draft, Boston and Clarke were the only Wildcats on the board.

This could suggest, John Calipari will have a load of sophomores returning for the 2021-22 season and perhaps even a junior in Keion Brooks.

Here’s Givony’s projected top 10 NBA Mock Draft picks:

  1. Cade Cunningham, Oklahoma State Cowboys
  2. Jalen Green, G League
  3. Evan Mobley, USC Trojans
  4. Jonathan Kuminga, G League
  5. Ziaire Williams, Stanford Cardinal
  6. B.J. Boston, Kentucky Wildcats
  7. Jalen Johnson, Duke Blue Devils
  8. Usman Garuba, Real Madrid
  9. Greg Brown, Texas Longhorns
  10. Terrence Clarke, Kentucky Wildcats
