Westry is currently ranked as the No. 25 player in the 2022 class, according to 247 Sports Composite rankings and is the No. 5 overall shooting guard. Among the schools who’ve offered Westry include Florida, Maryland, Syracuse, Louisville, LSU, Michigan, USC and Virginia Tech among others.
The 6-4, 190-pound guard, who is originally from Trinity High School in Pennsylvania, announced in June that he will spend his next two years of high school playing for national powerhouse Sierra Canyon alongside Bronny James, the son of LeBron James. It’s the same team current Wildcat Brandon Boston played for in his breakout senior season.
For, Syracuse is getting the most buzz in this recruitment, but it is still early in this recruitment, and we will see how serious Kentucky is about getting him to Lexington.
