Just two days after securing a scholarship offer from Kentucky, five-star point guard Hunter Sallis has announced a new list.
On Sunday, Sallis revealed his top 12, which included the Wildcats, Kansas Jayhawks, North Carolina Tar Heels, Louisville Cardinals and Oregon Ducks among others.

Sallis is a 6-5, 175-pound guard who plays at Millard North High School on Omaha (NE) and is ranked 11th overall by Rivals. He is listed as a combo guard by 247 Sports, while Rivals and ESPN have him as a point guard.
The Wildcats already have a commitment from 2021 point guard Nolan Hickman, but they’re still pursuing Sallis, who could help form a heck of a backcourt in 2021-22, especially if Devin Askew is back for a sophomore season. Hickman is viewed as more of a multi-year player, while Sallis is a strong one-and-done candidate.
Sallis told Rivals that he’s unsure if he’ll make a decision this fall or wait until the spring. Due to the coronavirus, recruits are unable to take official visits to schools, and that could continue for the remainder of 2020.
Back in July, Rivals’ Corey Evans ranked North Carolina as the top contender for Sallis with Kansas in second place. But that was obviously before Kentucky offered, which could be a game-changer in this recruitment. He has already unofficially visited Kansas, Gonzaga, Nebraska, Iowa and Iowa State.
