The oddsmakers are already doubting the Kentucky Wildcats as just minutes after the SEC announced UK would travel to take on the Auburn Tigers in their 2020 season opener, they were deemed, heavy underdogs.
Oddsmaker Collin Wilson of the Action Network has the Wildcats as 11-point underdogs heading to Auburn despite the fact, UK has the far better offensive line, defensive line and has a better record than the Tigers the previous two seasons combined.

Kentucky is 18-8 the past two seasons with a Citrus Bowl victory over Penn State and Belk Bowl win over Virginia Tech. The Tigers are 17-9 with a Music City Bowl win over Purdue and a loss in the Outback Bowl to Minnesota.
It comes as no surprise to see Auburn favored as they will be at home, as they return 2019 SEC Freshman of the Year Bo Nix and a host of talent on both sides of the ball. But if the oddsmakers looked further than just the names of the schools, they’d probably realize 11-points is far too much.
For Kentucky, this is simply more bulletin-board material.
