Lynn Bowden loses grandmother to COVID-19

Our thoughts and prayers go out to Bowden and his family.

Unfortunately, we have some sad news from former Kentucky star and Raiders RB Lynn Bowden, who tweeted out Sunday night that his grandmother has passed away due to the coronavirus.

It is clear that family means everything to Bowden, and losing a grandmother has to be extremely heartbreaking. Especially losing a grandparent to the ongoing pandemic when you couldn’t visit or see the person who tested positive in the hospital.

This would be a very tough situation to deal with, and I can speak for everyone at A Sea of Blue when I say that our thoughts and prayers go out to Lynn and the rest of his family.

Ever since Bowden joined the BBN, we have seen him be very active on social media so it would probably mean a lot if the fans reached out to him and sent him well wishes to let him know the BBN is thinking of him and his family.

This is now the second former Cat that has lost a family member that we know of as Karl-Anthony Towns lost his mother a few months ago to COVID-19. Be sure to remind everyone to stay safe and do everything possible to protect yourself and the people around you.
