Huey, who hails from Nashville (TN), commits after just scoring an offer from UK on June 24th. He also held offers from Georgia, Tennessee, Arkansas, Mississippi State and South Carolina among others.
The 6-0, 175-pound DB plays at Siegel high School and is ranked 69th among cornerbacks and 21st overall in the state of Tennessee by 247 Sports. His primary recruiter was UK secondary coach Steve Clinkscale, who continues to be one of on the school’s top recruiters on what’s become a very solid staff assembled by Mark Stoops.
With Huey now in the fold, UK’s 2021 class is now 14 players strong. He joins three-star safety Jordan Lovett as the Cats’ lone DB commitments in the class. This is also UK’s first pledge from Tennessee in 2021.
