Skyy Clark is ranked as the top combo-guard in the 2022 recruiting class, according to the 247 Sports Composite rankings. He is also a unanimous top-20 player across the board.
Clark has been high on Kentucky’s list for quite some time, and their interest has been obvious, but Clark has finally received an official scholarship offer tonight from John Calipari. Clark tweeted out the news:
mannn what a week it’s been. blessings on blessings. huge honor to receive an offer from Kentucky. thank you to Coach Calipari, Coach Justus, Coach Payne, and Coach Barbee for believing in me. i am honored. all glory to God ❤️ pic.twitter.com/3RvLf1bKq9

This comes two days after Clark secured a scholarship offer from the North Carolina Tar Heels.
Clark is just the third player from the class of 2022 to receive an offer from Kentucky, joining Emoni Bates and Brandon Huntley-Hatfield. Calipari must see a great deal of upside with Clark, as he is ranked considerably lower than the other two 2022 players receiving offers, both of which are in the top five.
Kentucky is seen as an early favorite for Clark, who transferred to a high school in Brentwood (TN) this past spring. Clark moved to Tennessee from Los Angeles, so it could be a good sign for Kentucky that he is now much closer to Lexington. Perhaps, if Clark ends up in Lexington, he would be able to avoid the west coast issues of some previous recruits.
There are only two predictions logged on the 247 Sports Crystal Ball for Clark, and they have him landing in Lexington. While it’s unclear when Clark could make his college decision, Kentucky’s chances certainly look good.
Oh yeah, there is a solid chance that Skyy Clark could end up in the class of 2021. That is certainly something to watch for.
