Moussa Cisse is ready to make his college decision.
The five-star center has set his decision date for Wednesday, July 15th.
DECISION TIME.

It’s been a long process I’ll be deciding my college destination Wednesday at 3pm CT ‼️ Stay Tuned #BigAfrica #AfricanDream
Cisse, who recently reclassified, was the No. 8 overall player in the 2021 class, and he’s now No. 11 in 2020 by 247 Sports. He’s also regarded as the best shot-blocker in high school basketball, something Kentucky could certainly use next season.
But while the Wildcats are among Cisse’s finalists, the favorite going into his decision are the Memphis Tigers. The LSU Tigers were previously seen as the favorites, but Memphis has picked up steam in recent weeks.
Coincidentally or not, Cisse was set to commit on June 5th, but he ended up postponing it on the same day Oklahoma State was hit with a postseason ban next season for their involvement in the college basketball corruption scandal. LSU is another school tied up in that and could get hit even harder than the Cowboys, so perhaps that’s why Memphis has surged into the lead with a decision on the horizon.
Among Cisse’s other finalists include Florida State, Georgetown and Georgia.
247 Sports recruiting director Jerry Meyer projects Cisse as a future first-round NBA Draft pick and compares him to Cheick Diallo.
Has a slender build with a long wingspan. Plays with energy and chip on his shoulder. Is a mobile athlete who will chase down the ball. Quality finisher around the rim. Is a tremendous rebounder. Limited in his offensive skill set at this point. Tough defender who is a top level shot blocker. First rounder on length, athleticism and energy. Must develop offensive skills to be an impact NBA player.
Kentucky is not viewed as a realistic threat to land Cisse.
