Former Kentucky Wildcats guard Isaiah Briscoe is delving into the business owner world, as he has purchased a bodega in his hometown Newark, New Jersey.
Briscoe purchased the ‘La Placita Bodega’, presumably to run and own while he also continues his professional career.

Briscoe has spent much of his professional career trying to make it to the NBA. He has spent time in the G-League, as well as getting a shot with the Orlando Magic back in 2018-19, and is now currently playing overseas in Poland.
One of only three Wildcats in history with a triple-double (Chris Mills, De’Aaron Fox), Briscoe’s time here is underrated and under-appreciated by Kentucky fans.
Regardless, good for Briscoe for making an impact in his home city. I hope his new found venture succeeds.
