Fashion is almost a necessity in today’s NBA. While it’s always been a trend for NBA players, you won’t find many players sporting Tim Duncan outfits. This year, a former Kentucky Wildcat won Rookie of the Year for his style off the court.
The Miami Heat’s Tyler Herro was selected as LeagueFits People’s Choice Rookie of the Year. Herro has been widely known as a bucket since his days wearing Kentucky blue, but he’s also built a second reputation of being best-dressed down in South Beach.
We shouldn’t be surprised. Herro had one of the best Draft Day outfits last summer and that was only the beginning of his fashion campaign. Though Herro probably isn’t on the level of James Harden or Russell Westbrook yet, he’s certainly ahead of other rookies on the red carpet as well as the hardwood.
