Kentucky star Tyrese Maxey is joining forces with some of the NBA’s best players.

Maxey, a projected first-round pick, is done at Kentucky after one season. He’ll pursue his dream at the next level, and he’s already learning from some of the best.

Maxey was recently shown in a workout with Ben Simmons and LeBron James. After the first picture which headlined the Klutch Sports’ Instagram post, Maxey is featured several times with James and Simmons looking on.

Maxey’s stock has dropped over the past few months, but he’s still projected to be one of the top 20 picks in the 2020 NBA Draft.

Getting this type of exposure may not mean much to scouts, but it will enhance his basketball IQ and allow him to get some tips from a few of the league’s best stars. For James, it could be a nice way to expose Maxey to what Klutch is all about too.

An agency group representing some of the league’s biggest names, Klutch has likely been looking at Maxey for quite a while, and getting James to build that relationship can do nothing but good for the brand.

That said, Maxey, while at Kentucky, put up 14.0 points per game. With his elite ability to get to the rim and crafty scoring, Maxey should thrive at the next level. His size and defensive abilities are still in question though.

Either way, it’s pretty cool to see him running it with James and Simmons.
