It is looking more and more likely there may only be two former Kentucky Wildcats drafted in the 2020 NBA Draft.

In Sam Vecenie of The Athletic’s latest NBA Draft Big Board, just two former Wildcats cracked the Top 50 in guards Tyrese Maxey and Immanuel Quickley.

Maxey checks in at 13 on Vecenie’s big board, while Quickley is ranked 49th. While Maxey and Quickley were the only two to crack the top 50, others did make the top 100.

Nick Richards is ranked 66th, and Ashton Hagans came in at No. 67. EJ Montgomery did not make the big board, while both Nate Sestina and Khalil Whitney also did not make the cut.

This big board is just the latest of both big board projections and mock drafts to feature just two Wildcat draftees.

If Maxey and Quickly are the only two Wildcats drafted, it will be the lowest number of players UK has seen selected in a single draft since 2013 when Nerlens Noel and Archie Goodwin were the 2013 Cats’ lone draftees.

The 2020 draft has been postponed from June 25 to Oct. 15 amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
