John Calipari continues to make Paolo Banchero a top recruiting priority.
On Sunday, Calipari and his staff had yet another virtual visit with Banchero, according to Jake Weingarten.

As Weingarten noted, Kentucky has already hosted Banchero for Big Blue Madness last year. Calipari has also virtually met with the fourth-ranked recruiting in 2021 several times this offseason.
Banchero, a 6-9 power forward from Seattle (WA), is down to Arizona, Duke, Gonzaga, Kentucky, Tennessee and Washington. He took early official visits to Duke, Gonzaga, Kentucky and Tennessee this past fall and winter.
Kentucky was able to end its drought of not landing top-five recruits in the 2020 cycle with fourth-ranked B.J. Boston. Of the top-five players currently in 2021, Banchero is who Kentucky has the best chance with right now. The Wildcats have the most recent prediction in the 247 Sports Crystal Ball, as well as both predictions in the Rivals FutureCast.
For now, the plan is for Banchero to take more visits this fall when things open back up, then make a decision next spring.
