Mark Stoops ranked as a top-15 coach in the country

Some well-deserved respect for Stoops.

The Kentucky Wildcats have had a tremendous amount of recent success on the football side of things, and that falls on the shoulders of Mark Stoops and his staff, who have been doing an outstanding job.

We have seen Stoops and his staff recruit at a level that many never thought would be possible at Kentucky, and it is turning into a lot of wins on the field.

According to a ranking by 247 Sports, Kentucky has one of the top coaches in the nation leading their program.

In the ranking of the top 25 coaches in the country, Mark Stoops came in at No. 15 which is No. 7 in the SEC.

SEC coaches ranked higher than Stoops include Nick Saban (No. 1), Ed Orgeron (No. 3), Kirby Smart (No. 4), Dan Mullen (No. 8), Jimbo Fisher (No. 9), and Gus Malzahn (No. 13).
