Less than a week after announcing his final list, transfer forward DeAndre Williams is ready to make a decision on his next home.
The former Evansville star, who is deciding between Arkansas, Baylor, Memphis, and Kentucky, will be making his final announcement either on Sunday or Monday, according to Memphis reporter Clayton Collier.
Evansville transfer DeAndre Williams plans to announce his college decision on either Mother's Day or Monday, May 11, his mentor and former coach @coachroysd tells me.

Kentucky has already landed three transfers in Davion Mintz, Jacob Toppin and Olivier Sarr, so why not make it a fourth?
Williams averaged 15.2 points and 7 rebounds last season, spending most of the spring semester sidelined with a back injury. His importance to the team was highlighted when the team went 0-17 after he was injured.
Williams will be seeking a waiver to not have to sit out for a year after his transfer. Since his coach, former Wildcat Walter McCarty, was fired midway through the semester there is a strong chance his waiver request could be granted.
At 6-9, Williams is a versatile player that could help the Wildcats immediately if he is deemed eligible. He can stretch the floor and shoot from the outside (he hit 45.5% from deep this season), he can hit free throws (80%), and was a strong leader for Evansville.
With the decision date looming, and Kentucky still pursuing Frank Anselem, it will be interesting to see who John Calipari prioritizes and who he ultimately lands. There’s likely only one roster spot left for one of Williams/Anselem to take.
