The Kentucky Wildcats have swung and missed on several frontcourt players for the 2020-2021 basketball season, but they are still hard at work to add depth to their lineup of big men. A decision from one of those recruits could be coming soon.
According to Adam Zagoria of ZagsBlog, 2020 center Frank Anselem is taking several meetings this week from prospective teams. This could mean that we are close to a final decision.

Seton Hall and Syracuse had Zoom meetings with Anselem on Monday, and Kentucky and Arkansas have scheduled meetings later in the week. In addition to the four teams already mentioned, Anselem also has San Diego State and Western Kentucky on his final list. Where Anselem lands in anyone’s guess, but Kentucky is certainly the most high profile school still on the board for Anselem.
No matter where he goes, Anselem is aware that he will be in college for at least a couple of years. So his decision basically boils down to making an immediate impact at a school like Western, or playing a limited role in games while battling some of the best competition in the country daily at practice.
Kentucky fans have been clamoring for a recruit like this for years. John Calipari’s ability to land him could be an indication of the future of his recruiting plans.
