The Kentucky Wildcats could have another potential frontcourt option entering the transfer market.

On Sunday night, news broke that Arizona State forward Romello White was jumping into the transfer portal. Jeff Goodman reports that White is a grad transfer.

A 6-8, 235-pound forward, White averaged 10.2 points on 56.9% shooting with 8.8 rebounds and 1.2 blocks in 28.5 minutes per game last season. He had performances of 18 & 17 vs. Georgia, 19 & 10 vs. Colorado, 18 & 7 vs. Washington, and 18 & 12 vs. Creighton while finishing with eight double-doubles on the season.

White isn’t quite the 7-foot center Kentucky could ideally get, but White is someone that plays bigger than his size, thanks in part to a 7-foot wingspan.

It’s unclear if Kentucky will actually show interest, but given their lack of depth and experience in the frontcourt, he’s someone they should definitely look into.
