The Kentucky Wildcats just picked up a 2021 pledge on defense.
On Friday, junior college linebacker Joko Willis committed to the Wildcats. He picked them over offers from the Kansas State Wildcats, Mississippi St. Bulldogs and Arkansas Razorbacks.

Willis, who plays at Independence Community College in Kansas, weighs in at 6-3 and 215 pounds. He is a redshirt freshman who will have three seasons of eligibility at UK.
The former three-star recruit originally played at Troup County High School in Georgia. As a Class of 2019 recruit, Willis was the 52nd-best inside linebacker and held offers from Kentucky, Arkansas, Maryland, Texas A&M and Syracuse among others.
The lead recruiter for Willis was inside linebackers coach Jon Sumrall, who has made a major impact on UK’s recruiting efforts since joining the staff in 2019.
