Dontaie Allen redshirted this past season coming off of two major injuries; a torn ACL and a broken collar bone.
John Calipari said that Allen could see some minor playing time late in the year last season, but of course, Allen never stepped foot on the court and kept his redshirt.
So, it’s encouraging to see Allen out on the court and looking pretty good in a video shared by KSR’s Jack Pilgrim.
If you will remember, before Allen tore his ACL back in December of 2018, Allen was averaging 50 points per game and would eventually win Kentucky Mr. Basketball in the process.
It’s good to see Allen back on the court looking healthy and finally fully recovered. Allen could play a pivotal role in next season’s Kentucky Wildcats team and could be a good sharpshooter off the bench.
