Zion Williamson was college basketball’s hottest name a season ago. His recruitment changed the basketball landscape, and now the attorney in his private lawsuit is looking for answers, and he’s not taking any way around it.
The questions that Williamson will be asked to answer are brutal and should reveal exactly what the court needs. They’re looking at yes-or-no questions. These questions are via Daniel Wallach, a legal analyst for the Athletic.
NEW: Zion Williamson’s former marketing agent has served requests for admission in their lawsuit asking him to admit that he received “money, benefits, favors or other things of value” to attend Duke University and to wear and/or use Nike and Adidas.

The issue stems from who has control over William’s marketing and endorsements. It’s a legal issue between CAA and Prime Sports. CAA currently represents Williamson. The complaint involves whether or not CAA interfered with Prime Sports’ relationship with Williamson.
A large agency, CAA also represents former Kentucky stars Karl-Anthony Towns and Devin Booker.
A versatile agency doing more than just basketball relationships, this will likely linger on for the distant future as Williamson’s seemingly been in the spotlight for myriad of issues that revolve around the agencies and the NCAA’s ruling on what he was allowed while at Duke.
For both now and the future of NCAA basketball, Zion’s case will something to follow closely.
