SB Nation’s Fan Pulse Madness has reached the championship game.
Both final four matchups were bitterly close but the Gonzaga Bulldogs and Michigan State Spartans.
Gonzaga defeated the Kansas Jayhawks 50.08% to 49.92% while the Spartans took down the Florida State Seminoles 52% to 48%.
While the Kentucky Wildcats were eliminated in the Sweet 16, they have real life bragging rights over one of the two finalists.
Kentucky defeated then-ranked No. 1 Michigan State back on Nov. 5 in the 2019 Champions Classic at Madison Square Garden to open the 2019-20 season. Tyrese Maxey led the way for the Wildcats with 26 points as UK broke their two-year losing streak in the early season event.
Despite UK not being in the finals, the BBN can still play in a role in deciding the Fan Pulse Madness National Champion.
