The second former Kentucky Wildcats player is off the board by way of offensive guard Logan Stenberg. He was taken in the fourth round by the Detroit Lions, which really is a good spot for him to land.
Stenberg was viewed as Kentucky’s most NFL-ready offensive lineman this past year, as he did not allow a single sack, and was crucial in Lynn Bowden’s transition to quarterback.
Despite the penalties, Stenberg will be a good addition in Detroit and should be a viable NFL player who competes for a starting spot as a rookie.
Congrats to Logan and his family! Here’s how Twitter reacted to the news:

Logan Stenberg is a Lion. I really like this fit for him.

Man the @Lions just got a nasty dude. Go Big Blue.

Happy for Logan Stenberg. That’s a good pick for the Detroit Lions.

After going from 1989 through 2012 with no offensive lineman drafted, UK has now had three chosen since 2013. Guard Larry Warford (3rd round to Detroit in 2013); tackle George Asafo-Adjei (7th round to New York Giants in 2019); guard Logan Stenberg (4th round to Detroit in 2020 https://t.co/uDMxpko5Uc

Logan Stenberg hasn’t allowed a sack all year at LG. That’s incredible for the SEC. Biggest concern is his arm length and penalties. That should solve that offensive guard problem.

Pro Football Focus on Logan Sternberg:
— Lions Guy (@LionsGuy9) April 25, 2020
“Stenberg is offensive line coach porn as he relishes the finish. He's also a PFF favorite for his work in pass protection where he's been one of the best in college football”
Now that’s an interesting quote...
Logan Stenberg, like Jonah Jackson, is a glass-eater up front. Super tough. Big-time run game pancake guy at Kentucky.
— Nick Baumgardner (@nickbaumgardner) April 25, 2020
The OL room for @Lions will change. The demeanor & attitude Stenburg brings will help. He can play. One of my favorite players coming out. https://t.co/kw5kfMcEFo
— Cole Cubelic (@colecubelic) April 25, 2020
Logan Stenberg is a big, mauling, nasty guard who is literally spending the draft on a cattle ranch in Tennessee. I can see why Matt Patricia likes him.
— kyle meinke (@kmeinke) April 25, 2020
New #Lions offensive guard Logan Stenberg is known for being a mauler, but he has only allowed ONE quarterback pressure (0 sacks) over the last two seasons in the SEC. #OnePride pic.twitter.com/pZ6GkXQJOS
— Logan Lamorandier (@LLamorandier) April 25, 2020
Logan Stenberg tells us the best aspect of his game is his attitude and nastiness. “I’m a nasty player.” You like to hear that from an OL Says it comes from being the youngest of 4 brothers.
— Tori Petry (@sportstori) April 25, 2020
Logan Stenberg is the highest Kentucky offensive lineman taken in the NFL Draft since Larry Warford went 65th overall, also to the Detroit Lions, in the 2013 NFL Draft.
