The 2019-20 Kentucky Wildcats provided many great moments. Perhaps none were better than when the Cats defeated their bitter rival in a classic overtime game that saw Nick Richards have his big breakout.
Richards has been holding a Q&A with fans today. When asked what his favorite game was from this past season, Richards made it clear that beating the Louisville Cardinals was his top moment:

That was when the world was fully introduced to Junior Nick Richards, as he scored seven of his 13 points in overtime while grabbing 10 rebounds in Kentucky 78-70 win over the Cardinals. His outburst started with Kentucky down 68-65 with 2:22 to go and concluded with two free throws to put the Cats up for good at 72-70.
This was also a defining moment for the Wildcats’ season, as they entered the game at 8-3 but went 17-3 the rest of the way en route to an SEC regular-season championship.
Let’s relive that day, shall we?
