After last night’s game, a video began to circulate of a woman launching a verbal tirade against Tennessee fans at Rupp Arena, using racial slurs.
Of course, once the video made it to Twitter, most people condemned the actions of the woman and called on the university to take action.
Based on tweets from UK Athletic Director Mitch Barnhart, it seems like they are doing just that.
Here’s the tweet thread from Barnhart:
An incident like the one that took place last night at Rupp Arena has no place at the University of Kentucky. There will be consequences for this unacceptable behavior and they will be announced once communicated to the offending party.— Mitch Barnhart (@UKMitchBarnhart) March 5, 2020
Props to Mitch Barnhart and the University of Kentucky. There is absolutely no place for anything like this ANYWHERE. Although the woman has apologized, actions still have consequences and it will be interesting to see what comes of this next.
Tweet of the Day
Really is crazy to think the whole perception of Kentucky’s season and what might be possible the next month swung dramatically in 15 minutes of basketball last night. Everybody was ready to put these Cats on their short list of contenders, up 17 and rolling. Now, doubts galore.— Kyle Tucker (@KyleTucker_ATH) March 5, 2020

Maxey goes in the lottery as the only first rounder for UK.
It’s looking more and more like Brady won’t be the Patriots QB next season.
