The Kentucky Wildcats had a Saturday to remember, as they beat the 15th-ranked Auburn Tigers to secure yet another SEC regular season championship.

How did they follow that up on Sunday? With an appearance at DanceBlue, the University of Kentucky’s 24-hour dance marathon which raises money for the Kentucky Children’s Hospital Hematology/Oncology Clinic, as well as the UK Markey Cancer Center.

The Wildcats paid a visit to the nearly 1,000 students taking part in the dance marathon. They promoted their Pick Nick and Pick Quick campaigns, in their efforts to make Nick Richards and Immanuel Quickley All-Americans. They also celebrated their conference-clinching victory on Saturday with their fellow students.

The fundraising event wrapped up Sunday night with the school announcing that $2 million had been raised.

The campaign raised nearly $1.9 million in 2019, according to DanceBlue’s website. DanceBlue, which is a student-run organization, also says it has raised over $15.3 million in 14 years.
