The Kentucky Wildcats finally beat the Tennessee Volunteers in Knoxville for the first time since 2015, 77-64.
In a breakout game for Johnny Juzang, Kentucky pulls away late from the Vols to get their eighth SEC win of the season.
Juzang, Maxey, and Quickley were all lethal in the backcourt for the Wildcats today and Nick Richards was up to his usual antics, posting yet another double-figure effort against one of the better, and more annoying, forwards in the country in John Fulkerson.
Kentucky gets a much needed win to keep them in a three-way tie atop the SEC with LSU and Auburn.
The Cats are on the road at Vanderbilt next Tuesday night.

Ended up with 41 fouls and 49 free throws in that game. I'm going to need to look up how many one-minute stretches we got without a whistle. Gonna guess not many.

First win for Kentucky in Knoxville since 2015. It wasn’t pretty, and Tennessee is not good, but it was a big one. GO CATS!

Today was Kentucky's 2nd best free-throw shooting performance in a true road game in the John Calipari era (min. 25 att.)(88%, 22-25). The Wildcats made 90% of their 30 free-throw attempts at Ole Miss on February 18th, 2014.

Sophomore Johnny Juzang, who will have a season of figuring things out under his belt, is going to be a very, very good player.
